Tight times, tough choices

Hundreds of people who are concerned about the city turned out for four community forums held in February 2009.

The events explored what Philadelphia taxpayers think about the ideas and services that are on the chopping block in the next city budget. Participants identified priorities and the trade-offs they are willing to make to reach those priorities.

For full coverage, check out "It's Our City" at WHYY and the Penn Project for Civic Engagment. There, you can find the final report, moderator reports, video testimonials and news coverage.
